This single-storey family home extension to a double fronted Victorian terrace house in Ballarat, Victoria, explores the client’s love of natural light and uncluttered design. Making use of the wide site and existing period features, the design incorporates a re-working of the original house layout, a new extension including the living, kitchen and dining facilities and a redesigned backyard with associated pavilions. This project is currently in development, due for completion in 2025.
